Side Tracked caches have become a nationwide series of caches for public transport users. They are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at or nearby railway stations. Caches can be found close to stations of the national rail network and heritage railways.
Cononley railway station serves the village of Cononley in North Yorkshire. The original station opened in 1847 but was closed in 1965. The local, county & district councils then funded for it to be reopened in 1988 at a snip at £35000. The station is small with only 2 platforms and serves Skipton, Bradford & Leeds.
