La ruina de montemayor Traditional Cache

The cache is medium sized and hidden in the ruins of an old Moorish castle atop Montemayor, close to the village of Benahavis. The ruins are around 590m asl and from here there are stunning views of the Costa Del Sol from Gibraltar to Marbella and beyond. You can drive part of the way there by taking the road from Benahavis past the Guardia Civil building and then parking by the barrier at Benahavis Hills. alternatively if you have a 4x4 you can continue up the dirt track and then walk the last part (around 15 minutes).
