At the entrance to the adit the water is around 6" deep but soon goes dry after a short distance. Wear wellies if you do not want to get wet feet! Walk 92 paces ignoring the first passageway to your right until you come to a t-junction with an almost blocked off passageway. Turn left and walk 11 paces until you come to blue copper formations. To your left is where the cache is hidden. Click on the map and video link so you get an idea of the mine.

The underworld is a potentially dangerous place. Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure that the hazards on route are minimal they can never be eliminated. I would highly recommend that visitors bring with them, at least one spare torch, spare batteries and wear wellies. A helmet of any variety is also highly recommended as their maybe debris plus low roofs you can hit your head on.
This cache and mine should not be attempted solo and you should always inform someone of where you are going and what time you plan to be out. The cache will take less than an hour to complete. Be sure to inform your contact as soon as possible upon leaving the mine but certainly before your agreed call out time.
