Penrhyn Bay Circular #5: Are You Sure That's Real? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to replace this cache a new listing will now need to be created. Caches are not unarchived due to a lack of maintenance. Please do not e-mail me.

Geocache Description:

This series will take you on a circular (ish) route around my home town, Penrhyn Bay. It should take you no more than 2 hours, quicker still if you use a car! It is possible to park within 100 metres of each of these caches but why would you, when instead you can enjoy a lovely walk :D. This series is suitable for geo-kids and geo-dogs also :) Enjoy!!

Penrhyn Bay

Penhryn Bay (Welsh: Bae Penrhyn), is a small town on the north Wales coast, in Conwy county borough, within the parish or community of Llandudno, and part of the ecclesiastical parish of Llanrhos. It is a propserous village with a cluster of local shops, a pub, 2 churches, and a modern medical centre with a doctors' surgery at the foot of the pass over the shoulder of the Little Orme from Llandudno. There is also a highschool here called Ysgol Y Creuddyn and a primary school called Ysgol Glanwydden - which was my primary school! :) Penrhyn Bay is considered to be a residential suburb of Llandudno lying east of the Little Orme. It adjoins the resort of Rhos-on-Sea.

The Cache

Continuing from the last cache, walk straight across the public path and through the residential estate towards this next cache. It is on a public road, just off the "main" road!

YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN PEN - AND TWEEZERS WOULD CERTAINLY HELP!!

PLEASE CONCEAL EXACTLY AS FOUND :)

Happy Caching...
