Annnapolis Royal Winter #6 Traditional Cache

This geocache is located on the old railbed near the French Basin Trail in Annapolis Royal as part of the "Take the roof off Winter" geocaching/snowshoeing event.

The French Basin Trail is a recreational walking trail that forms a 1.2 km loop around a constructed wetland on the edge of the French Basin. This small basin at the back of the town has been called the French Basin since the English capture of Port Royal in 1710. The cache is placed off the trail near a swamp and hilly terrain. Caution should be advised when approaching ground zero because of the old fence nearby and the thorns.
