This cache is on the Maraetai section of the Waikato River Trails. The trail starts at either Mangakino or Whakamaru. You can either walk or bike the trail which is graded intermediate. There is also the option of parking at the local domain and walking/cycling to the cache. The Mangakino suspension bridge is 70m long and 12m above the picturesque Mangakino stream. You are looking for a screw top container at the Whakamaru end of the bridge. Lid is fixed to the bridge. It is accessible from the path but may be easier to locate if you take one step off the trail. BYOP.
