Geocache Description:

Another in the Round The Mountain series of caches exploring the many shades, sights and sounds of back-country Taranaki

Near this side is the Tikorangi Cosmodrome where Taranaki's Space Exploration Programme is conducted. The rocketships have a crew of four, and launch every one to two months, depending on payload, and the need for more satelites overhead. This facility was top secret for many years but since the corporatisation of space travel cow cocky entrepreneurs have been queuing up. Private fee-paying passenger flights are expected to begin in earlier 2014.
