Geocache Description:

So continues the Zebra series of caches…  Wear ORANGE during hunting season! How many feet does a Zebra have?  Please be gentle and replace the camo as you found it.  There should be a hole you can work with ;)

Parking is either at the end of Summit Wood Drive or right on RT 71.  Stilletto gals have a cache near by and so does Ron so dont forget those!


This cache is just off of the Metacomet Trail - a 62.7-mile Blue-Blazed hiking trail that traverses the Metacomet Ridge of central Connecticut and is a part of the newly designated 'New England National Scenic Trail'.  The Metacomet Trail passes through land located within the following incorporated towns, from south to north: BerlinMeridenSouthingtonNew BritainPlainville,FarmingtonWest HartfordAvonBloomfieldSimsburyEast Granby, and Suffield, Connecticut.  The Metacomet Trail extends from the ConnecticutMassachusetts border south through Hartford and northern New Haven counties in Connecticut. The southern terminus of the trail is located just east of the Hanging Hills on U.S. Route 5, 4 miles north of the city of Meriden, in the town of Berlin, Connecticut; the northern terminus is located in the hamlet of Rising Corner, part of Suffield, Connecticut.
