FrancisScottKey: ### Geocache Owner Action Needed ###

What to do next?

  1. Post pertinent information with the 'Write Note' log type asap.
(If you're encountering unusual circumstances or ongoing issues, post a note every 30 days so the listing doesn't appear abandoned)
  2. Visit the container and provide maintenance, such as replacing the container.
  3. Update the posted coordinates (if necessary) making sure they are accurate.
  4. Confirm the geocache's trackable inventory.
  5. After the geocache is up to the standard, then post an Owner Maintenance log.
  6. Lastly, enable your geocache.

If no intervention from the CO is evident within 30 days from today's date, the listing will fall into archival status.

Thanks for providing quality geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Celebrating 50 years of Doctor Who.

This cache was placed to mark the 50th Anniversary of the world's longest-running science-fiction television series: Doctor Who.

Doctor Who began it's initial run of serials on BBC-TV on Saturday, 23 November 1963. It ran for 26 seasons from 1963–1989, produced a one-off TV movie in 1996, and resumed regular production in 2005. By Christmas 2013, the programme will have produced a total of 800 episodes (240 stories) over 33 seasons/series. The role of the Doctor has been portrayed by 11 different actors; the 12th actor, Peter Capaldi, will take over the role from the encumbant Doctor, Matt Smith, on Christmas Day 2013.

Saturday, 23 November 2013 will see the premiere of Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary episode, ‘The Day of the Doctor’, which will be simulcast at 1950 GMT (2.50pm EST) on television networks and 3D cinema houses in 94 countries around the globe. It is set to be the world's largest drama simulcast.

THE HIDE
The container is a stubby bison tube magnetically attached to the inside of a themed container. If you're familiar with the Doctor's preferred means of travel, you'll have a pretty good idea what you're looking for. You will need to bring your own writing implement. Please note: You should NOT need to move any rocks to find the container; it is visible without using your hands. Please refrain from rearranging the rocks as this could damage the wall and cause injury to you.

PARKING
I've included a waypoint for legal parking about .18 mi SW of the cache site; it's an easy walk via a trail from the lot. There is a closer spot to park directly across the road from GZ, however there are ambiguous "No Parking" signs posted, so park there at your own risk. (Also, people drive way too fast on this stretch of DVR, so please be careful when crossing.) Being on the same side of the road as the hide, the posted parking, while not as close, is much safer, especially if you've got young or disabled cachers with you. Of course, when travelling by TARDIS, the best course of action is simply to materialise around the hide and sign the log without leaving the comfort of your ship. ;)

Please be respectful of the cemetery, and be kind to the next finder by re-hiding the container in the exact same place you found it. Additional hints are available to anyone logging a DNF. Have fun!

Congrats to KlawPaws for FTF!
