This place hosts New Zealand’s only giant saltwater crocodiles - the world’s apex predators. Scar andGoldie were imported into NZ in early 2009. Complementing these wonderful reptiles is their magnificent tropical butterfly house with over 750 free-flying tropical butterflies, smaller reptiles and various bird species.
They host the captive rear and release programme for NZ’s giant wetapunga, one of the world’s largest insects. You’ll see these guys on display in Greenfingers Bugs About, together with a wide range of other fascinating insects including 16 beautiful tarantula. You can delight in NZ’s largest marine coral and fresh-water tropical aquaria. Buttermilk Farm has all your farmyard favourites. Other wildlife can be observed from the Red Admiral Express Train as it circulates our working wetlands.
You are looking for a nano cache, hidden on waist hight, alltough this is a very busy road, this creepy large tree, with beards of hanging branches, looks like something out of a horror movie, will hide you from view.

Recommend to take a stroll after finding the cache, on the left hand side is a complete new area developt like a wetlands, complete with a peninsula, art works, viewing platform, wild life and walking tracks all free to use.
