Cheaper by the Dozen ... Challenge Mystery Cache
retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

The cache is located along the Feather River, about 8 miles S of Marysville. Park at the Star Bend Boat Launch, and hike .18 miles W on the main trail. The cache is located about 20 ft from the trail.
**********LOGGING REQUIREMENTS*********
This is a cache for the cacher who has broad interests. You must find 12 caches from 12 different categories...which will total 144 caches overall. You must find 12 traditionals, 12 multis, 12 puzzles, 12 virtuals, 12 letterboxes, 12 earthcaches, 12 regular events (excluding CITO and MEGA-events), 12 CITO events, 12 web-cams, 12 wherigos, 12 bench marks, and 12 from a miscellaneous category. The misc category includes APE, Geocaching HQ, Geocaching Block Party, GPS Adventures exhibit, Groundspeak Lost and Found Celebration, locationless, Lab, Lost and Found event, and MEGA-Event. You may use only 4 from each of these types of caches. There is no need to list your finds, as they should be visible on your profile page.
This is not an easy placement. You should not go alone, you should not go at night, and you must have some monkey skills. I hope you have a dozen laughs while pursuing this project...
