Best Theme/Series
Every cacher has had searches that have ended on negative notes and those which have ended on positive notes. After placing Negative Notes (GC47WER) I got a great number of comments from people who felt they were simply hitting sour notes. So this cache is in honor of those folks.
Understanding of music theory is not necessary to solve the puzzle. In fact too much musical knowledge may be detrimental. All that is needed are some basic music facts.
Musical notes are represented as ovals placed on or between a series of five parallel lines. One of the first things a music student is taught is how to read notes. On piano the notes played with the right hand are shown on or between lines referred to as the Treble Clef.
Ovals placed on the five lines in the picture above represent the notes in ascending order of E, G, B, D, F. These notes are memorized with the phrase Every Good Boy Does Fine. Notes placed in the four spaces between the lines in ascending order spell out the word FACE.
The notes on the Treble Clef ascend in a stair step fashion. Starting from the lower E and ending at the highest F. The notes ascend in the order E, F, G, A, B, C, D, E, F.
This notation will be utilized to provide the coordinates to the cache. This is not a musical puzzle. It is a puzzle using symbols from music. Anyone with musical training reading the cache score will most likely cringe. This is about the trees, not the forest.

Coordinates for the cache were averaged over several days. Even so, use Geosense as much as GPS at GZ. Good luck. Parking can be found very close to the cache.
