A cache hidden along "Camp Cawatre Road" which branches off Arroyo Seco-Indians Road. This spur road, overlooking Santa Lucia Creek, leads to the remains of Girl Scout Camp Cawatre (Camp-Water-Trees), most recently used from 1958-1984, and the well-preserved Santa Lucia Adobe.
The Arroyo Seco-Indians Road makes some tight turns below, but manages to cross the Santa Lucia Creek in style.
The container is a 35mm with a log. Obtaining accurate coordinates was difficult due to the nearby hills. Keep your feet on the trail for this one, but be sure to step up and peek at the bridge.
Day use fees are $10.00 and parking is available in the Gorge lot.
