Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by the CITO crew after cleaning up Nimitz Park on 19 October 2013.

Only accessible Tuesday-Saturday, 0900-1800.

We had such a great time today in Nimitz Park that we had to place a cache before leaving. Over the past three years, each cache placed in the park has been muggled so this time we placed in a spot that is about as secure as you can get. The USO is a nonprofit organization that provides programs, services and live entertainment to United States troops and their families. Since 1941, it has worked in partnership with the Department of Defense (DOD). The USO operates 160 centers worldwide, two of which are in our vicinity: one on-base that is normally only accessible by ID-holders and the other one here in Nimitz Park that is accessible to all. Please note though that this cache is only accessible between the hours of 0900-1800, Tuesday-Saturday. Stop by for a bite to eat or to use the wi-fi to find the coordinates for your next geocaching adventure. If you're having difficulty finding it, just ask the front desk for help!
