There are a series of caches approximately .1 mile apart all the way up this trail to the top of the hill and beyond. The placement of these caches was a coordinated effort by a group of Polson Geocachers who divided the cache locations between them. Most of these caches are only available by walking or biking the trail. Most are not available from the main road.
Parking is limited at the bottom of the trail to a small pullout on the north side of the road. There is more parking available at the top of the trail by turning off Skyline Drive onto Mission View Drive just over the top of the hill. Drive a short distance on Mission View Drive and take the first right and park in front of the big boulders across the road. This is the old access to these houses and puts you right on the trail. Cache seekers should have in their possession a Flathead Reservation Conservation Permit.
You are looking for a very small cache tucked out of sight from most angles.
