The Hobbit - Roäc Mystery Cache

Roäc was described as being a most decrepit bird. He was getting blind, he could hardly fly, and the top of his head was bald. He was an aged raven of great size. Roäc's father, Cark, was present when Smaug took the mountain. Many years later, Roäc told Thorin and Company, that the dragon was defeated, and he served as a messenger between Thorin, and Dáin II Ironfoot in preparation for the troubles that followed.
