You are expected to physically sign the log sheet in order to log your find on-line.
I was trying to fill in the area along the trail here at the north end. There was only a small section I could place the cache in which placed a limit on where and what I could place. The area north of the trail had poison ivy and I wanted to avoid that.
The location is very near the trail so please keep an eye out for walkers and runners. Please be sure to tuck it back out of sight as best as possible so this one lasts as long as possible. I still have a supply of bison tubes so the cache container is once again a small camo painted bison tube. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle. I have attached one to the cache you can use. Please leave it for the next person.
OCC is now mapped, including trails, on OpenStreetMap (OSM). You can see this through Geocaching.com by selecting Set Map Preferences button on the map side panel. Next select Leaflet from the pop-up. Then in the upper right corner of the map, select OpenStreetMap Default from the map choices.
