La Griffe: Hi all, though this location still holds a bit of nostalgia for me, I've decided to archive this cache simply because I can't come up with a new location as the immediate area contains no features that interest me. I won't hide anything as pedestrian as an ornament in some foliage, or a micro planted somewhere on a piece of signage - not that there's anything wrong with those type of hides. I just don't see the need for another one as there's already so many out there.
For those that found this cache, congrats, thanks for playing. For those that haven't had an opportunity to look for it... sorry!
I had plans for more cool-atypical-fun hides in the works, but the NY reviewer/s have made it abundantly clear to me that a cache description page should be written the way they want it to be written. Apart from the guidelines already established, this means no stories, anecdotes, opinions or other such "fluff". This seems puzzling to me as just about every other cache page contains the aforementioned "no no's". It's my opinion that a cache page is a huge part of the caching experience as it affords one to share things and learn about things. Simply writing factual info about where and how the cache is hidden doesn't interest me and at this point I'd rather not hide anything than have to enter another discourse with the opinionated powers that be.
