Geocache Description:

Growing up I remember climbing trees all the time.  Why not add that adventure to our geocaching.
About this Tree: Nice tree out in the open in this beautiful park. Might look funny climbing it!  Has many branches to explore.
The cache is more than 8 feet high, but less than 20 feet.   Cache is a camoed scuba tube.
This is the first tree climbing cache in Great Falls.  I have more planned if it is a success.
Do not attempt this cache is you have back problems or any other medical issues which you might aggravate. Climb only at your own risk. If in doubt do not attempt. Unsure of how much weight these branches can support. Cache was placed by person less than 200 lbs

.
Rule for normal logging: Those cachers that that aren't physically able to climb the tree can get someone else
to climb up the tree and log the cache for them.

Some tips for climbing a tree safetly.

1) The spot where the branch meets the tree is the sturdiest place on the branch to place your feet. Use those spots to your advantage.
2) Always look for a sturdy branch, not a stick, to support your weight.
3) Use gloves to prevent splinters and/or when you get attacked by those tree squirrels.
4) Branches are strongest near the trunk.
5) Use your legs more than you use your arms, as it is much less tiring.
