The Witch House
A long time ago when all this land was part of the Washington Estate, this site was said to be the home of a witch. A dark dirt road in a patch of woods lead to an old run down shack. Many a strange smokes and smells came from here and the old mysterious woman who was seen was said to be a witch and to be avoided.
As time went on the mysterious woman disappeared and the shack slowly fell apart. Part of the old stone foundation can still be seen and locals occasionally will see a mysterious dark figure walking about this crossroads. Ofcourse, that is the story I know.........
