Moncrieffe Island lies in the middle of the river Tay in the centre of Perth. The river at this point is tidal and very fast flowing so extreme care should be taken with youngsters at all times.
The Island is home to King James VI golf course which is believed to the only inland island golf course in the country. It is also home to allotments which are managed by the Perth Working Men's Garden Association.
The safest access to the cache is by using the pedestrian footpath on the railway bridge which can be accessed from Tay Street west side or Rodney Gardens on the east side.
Stealth will be required near the cache.
The cache is located just off a path and is a small lock n lock with a logbook and small pen.
