The A465 is a major road in South Wales and is commonly known as the Heads of the Valleys road because it joins together the northern ends (heads) of the South Valleys.
It approximately follows the Southern boundary of the Brecon Beacons National park and can be described as the unofficial border between rural and industrial South Wales.
There is a variety of size and styles of caches and various difficulties but all are cache and dashes.
Some off the caches are on the westbound side of the dual carriageway and some on the eastbound with a few just off. We will leave it up to you to work out but please do not cross the carriageway.
Please keep an eye on any children, as this road can get very busy.
Not all caches contain a pen and some may require tweezers or an implement to remove the log.
