The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies by Beatrix Potter begins:
It is said that the effect of eating too much lettuce is "soporific."
I have never felt sleepy after eating lettuces; but then I am not a rabbit.
They certainly had a very soporific effect upon the Flopsy Bunnies!
We have two English Angora Bunnies named for Peter Rabbit's sister and cousin from this story. We were inspired by everyone in the neighborhood that comes by to peek through the lattice fence to see our bunnies.
Please don't come in the yard, the cache is located outside the fence, though not in plain sight.
The cache container is a mega-sized bison-style capsule, big enough to hold trinkets, travel bugs, and coins. Do watch out for muggles with strollers, walking dogs, jogging, or all three!
Take a pause during your neighborhood stroll to trade some trinkets and visit our own Flopsy and Benjamin who keep watch over our corner. If the bunnies are out, they can be seen through the lattice. In the daytime, they might be keeping company with their little sister, Persephone, the cayuga duck. If you can't spot anyone, then they might be hiding or snoozing in their hutch or in a hole they have been digging and don't want to be disturbed. During really cold or raining weather, we bring them inside. Thanks! We hope you enjoy it.
