Geocache Description:

A sign indicates the Marshdale Cemetery off the main road. This side road is bumpy at first, but quickly gets better... except in the winter when it is not plowed and could be impassable by car. Keep left at the Y in the road. You'll see a parking/turning area near the cemetery. It is a short walk along an old woods road from here to the cache. Just a short jaunt into the woods for the find.

I was out to repair my original cache and decided to add two more to make it worth the drive out here. Check out "Arrived in 1841" and "Road to Marshdale Cemetery" while you are here.  I placed the original cache near the gravesites of some of my earliest immigrant ancestors from this branch of the family. This cache is a short walk past the cemetary.

I have a slight fear, and strong dislike, of birds so it was bothersome that so many swooped so close by during the drive out here and multiple times while we were repairing and placing caches. As I was scanning this area for a suitable cache location, my dogs startled a bird (pheasant, grouse...I don't know, some large, loud thing) which in turn startled me so much that I stumbled and fell over a fallen log.surprise That's when I noticed..."This is a good spot for a cache".smiley
