Geocache Description:

Congratulations on finding one of the most scenic power trails in the country!!

The Trail To Glacier #76
The Trail To Glacier will take you through historic Bad Rock Canyon, navigating beautiful woods of Douglas fir and pine, along the blue-green waters of the Flathead River, under the snow-capped Montana Rockies, and on to Glacier National Park which National Geographic calls the "Jewel of the Continent". For those who have hiked the Swiss Alps you'll find that the craggy peaks and amazing vistas of GNP are just as beautiful and even more accessible than the Alps of Europe. On this Power Trail you'll find a variety of hiding methods since it was assembled by various cachers, all lending their unique flair to the task. Most of the caches are accessible during winter with the exception of #11. You'll also notice that #1 is for Premium Members only. When pulling off the highway please pull over as far as possible and put your hazard lights on. Please bring a pen or pencil with you. Enjoy your journey. If you see trash please remove it. Take the time to look around and absorb the scenery. Remember to take only photographs and leave only footprints. The pristine beauty of this area is awaiting you. Enjoy the Trail To Glacier!
