Geocache Description:

This is a puzzle cache and is not at the above coordinates, which are for the car park at Eyebridge.  This is my first cache and I've placed it at a favourite spot where you can see a variety of wildlife.  Please don't try to find the cache in the dark - early morning or dusk are good times if you want to catch sight of a heron or even a kingfisher if you're lucky.

The cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.

To find this cache as you head north you need to keep your eyes open times ten! Not that I’m prone to exaggeration, although I think I used to be.  Have you noticed how everybody’s changing these days; perhaps it’s down to the weather – the rain seems as though it can’t stop now.  Years ago it seemed as though you were guaranteed sunshine all through the school summer holidays.  These days it feels like she has no time to appear and brighten our days – the sunshine is of course female!  I’ve noticed on the weather forecast that there is tends to be a difference depending on which side of the country you live.  As you look west there are often strong winds that cause our trees to bend and break.  If you find this cache you’ll certainly see a number that have fallen victim to a combination of wind and the wet weather. But I digress.  Putting sunshine on its side (a bit of creative thinking here?), these ramblings are supposed to help you find the coordinates but once I start I find I can’t stop.  Now, back to the task in hand. I like to sing to myself as I stroll along and have a number of favourite CDs that I like to hum along to.  That’s another thing that’s different now – used to be that we all bought vinyl and then CDs but now everybody’s changing to downloading. What songs will you choose to brighten your day?  And will the sun come out to help you on your way?  I certainly hope so as the cache is close to somewhere it’s good to sit and contemplate for a while.  Many a busy woman will say that she has no time do to this, but having tried it myself it’s certainly recommended.

Due to rising water levels the cache has been moved from its original location. Once you have solved the puzzle and got a yes from the geochecker you need to add 8 to the Northings and 18 to the Westings.
