Geocache Description:

The geocache is located along the Depot Trail near the Saline Depot Museum. Parking is available at the historic railroad complex.

Although the original buildings surrounding the Depot are gone, the Depot still stands on its original site. During its heyday, the complex consisted of a depot building, storage barn, wool barn, livestock pens, loading facilities, water storage tank and outdoor bathroom. At one time as many to six steam trains a day arrived in Saline.
