Purpose: To hike the first half of the Guelph Radial Line Trail which is a little less than 15km in length.
This is the 1st of 2 GRLT hikes this year. I plan on doing 4 hikes a year (full trail twice). The total distance of the Guelph Radial Line Trail is 35km long. The trail starts in Guelph and ends in Limehouse.
Time: Meet at the posted coordinates at 10:00am on August 31st 2013, which is the 0km mark of the trail. After a quick group photo we will be off, so arrive promptly.
End Point: Is the 14.8km mark of the GRLT Trail where the trail meets Guelph Line.
Parking:
Beginning: Parking lot at the posted coordinates.
End: Parking lot at the Railcar Museum. 200m along the road to the lot from the trail exit
Hopefully some people will park at the end and carpool back to the starting point, both before and after the hike. I plan on parking at the end point so I will need a ride to the beginning before the hike. It's about a 10 minute drive from the end point to the start point.
