Part of the Lazy Leisure series which are a tribute to my Geohound Bud, who in his youth loved the outdoor pursuits, especially the ones where the end results was a nice chunk of kibble (this could be smelt from some distance away and being a hound, he normally attained his prey), now into his dotage he much prefers his leisure pursuits for the comfort of the back of the car, where he can see all the fun but expend none of the energy!
SKI-looked like fun to Bud if a bit rough on the old knees, stopping was a problem, this generally involved hurtling into the crash mats, he much preferred the entertainment Après-ski! Caches placed around Kendals leisure facilities where Bud used to plod regularly. Cache is small size and only room for log book, please bring your own pencil and tweezers. If you wish to complete the series on foot, parking is available at LL Double Up, from here to LL Get In, is 1.46km approx, so walkable, but be prepared, Kendal is not flat and the walk up to LL Get In is quite steep!! Though the views are worth the climb. Please park responsibly, do not block any access roads - thanks.
