This cache is an ammo can placed, as the name implies, on the river side of the trail. The easiest way to get to the cache is to park at the Lone Pine Trailhead off of Keystone Road. This particular part of the trail is paved and suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. From this trailhead it is an easy walk of a mile, round trip. That being said, it will be necessary to leave the trail at its end and travel down to the sandy area above the river to actually get to ground zero. At the time of this writing the cache is full of kiddie oriented trade items. If you wish to take something please bring something of equal value to trade. In the summer there are usually swans down in the river and the little sandy point is a favorite place for turtles to lay their eggs. Happy hunting!!
