What a view! You can see El Capitan Lake, highway 52 and into Jamul. I parked at Shadow Hills Jr. High school and walked less than two miles to the top of this mountain. The road is wide but steep. The peak is a nice spot for lunch, with several shady areas underneath Oak Trees.
Inside the cache you will find a Frisbee, gold dollar coins, post-it notes, a great book on raising your kids, a book of quotes, marble, whistle, a working pager, golf ball, a Dish-network SW-21 switch, a box of paper clips, a new blank cassette tape, a very nice polished rock, speaker wire, etc.
