Hooray for Hollywood Meet & Greet Event Cache

The famed Hollywood Sign (N 34° 08.041 W 118° 19.307), which until 1949 read "HOLLYWOODLAND," was dedicated on July 13, 1923. Help celebrate its 90th birthday at a meet and greet devoted to tales of caching and waymarking at historic sites.

Florida Southern College is recognized as having the world's largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, with 12 structures constructed between 1938 and 1958. There are five caches on campus respresenting three cache types (traditional, virtual, and earthcache) and a puzzle cache begins on campus. Waymarks abound, with more than 40 on the campus.

We will convene at 10:00am and will meet until noon. BYOS (snack, sandwich, stories) and join us on the front porch of Roux Library. Light fare is also sold at TûTû's Cyber Café just inside the library.

Bring TBs and coins to swap or display, and enjoy this mid-summer gathering. In case of rain we will meet inside. See you there!
