Both Mr. & Mrs. KBK have fond memories of visiting this conservation area on annual school trips. There are a few marked trails throughout the conservation area, although access is limited to one of them during certain times of year (we didn't place any caches there).
The terrain on these trails varies from mowed path to areas where the trail is barely discernable. If you are with small children, we would recommend the trails closest to parking/the nature centre. Further areas on the 'yellow trail' are highly overgrown and full of ticks. If visiting in the summer, wear long pants and bug spray!
While placing these caches, we saw a lot of deer prints, tons of frogs, and a few snakes. We also saw an abundance of wildflowers - the caches are named after these. The following information is taken from the GRCA website: "Located about 5 km west of Cayuga, the Taquanyah Conservation Area and Nature Centre have been a great natural resource to more than 2,000 school children per year for decades."
