Prince Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

Small cache set within the grounds of Herrington Country Park. Cache is a clip and lock box in disguise in a "less busy" area of the park.
There is plenty onsite parking and the closest to the cache is at n54 52.459 W1 28.718

I have placed this cache in memory of my best friend, Prince (The dog formerly known as).
Prince loved his walks around the park. Particularly taking in the views of the monument from the highest point. When I first heard about Geocaching I couldn’t wait to be able to take Prince with me. I knew how much he would love exploring the new places, taking in the sights and the scent. Sadly, before we could make our first outing he became unwell and never recovered.

In his memory I have also placed a Travel Bug into the cache.
There is a selection of goodies in the cache and also something there for the FTF to help spread the geocache love.

Happy finding :o)
