La Humita en Chala
La humita es un alimento de origen andino, heredado de nuestros ancestros originarios del noroeste argentino. Consiste básicamente en una pasta o masa de maíz levemente aliñada, envuelta y finalmente cocida o tostada en las propias hojas (la chala) de un choclo. En Argentina también se la come al plato.
La humita mas rica de Tucumán se la come en "El Portal" 24 de setiembre 351, muy cerca de éste caché. Justamente éste caché fue inaugurado como broche de oro del
Primer Evento de Geocachers de Tucumán.
Humita
Humita is a Native American dish from pre-Hispanic times, and a traditional food in Argentina's North West. It consists of masa harina and corn, slowly steamed or boiled in a pot of water.
The Tucuman's richest humita eats it in "El Portal" 351 24 September street, very close to this cache. Just this cache was inaugurated at end's
Tucuman's First Geocaching Event.

In Argentina the Geocaching is not yet a game as popular as in other countries, and is common that geomuggles steal caches just for fun. So, please search and pick up the cache when
no one is looking, and later leave the cache the same way and well hidden, sure that it is not visible from any angle!!!! Always try to pass unnoticed ...and be sure to bring a pen to sign the register!
