South Australia is known as the place to come for densely placed caching and for power trails.
I first cached SA in 2007 and set an Australian record for finds found in 24 hours in the process.
The record I was involved in setting back then is now routinely surpassed, thanks mostly to the many powertrails that now exist, especially in SA.
So here's a little series to act as a teaser, close to the border, showing you what you can expect if you venture further into the State.
All caches are easily accessible from laybys / parking bays. Please do not park on the side of the highway.
This little series involves a variety of different styles of hide, each of which is prevalent in SA.
Some of the hides will be easy, some might not be so easy.
Unfortunately the laybys have quite a bit of rubbish in them so please practice CITO by moving some of it into the bins.
This cache is typical of a number of powertrails.
A 35ml film canister, which should be easily found.
