This cache is located in the central Flinders reasonably close to Wilpena Pound. The walking track for most of the way to the cache is is a little rough & undulating but still should be quite suitable for most people. There is no need to climb out of the creek.
Moralana Scenic Drive connects the Wilpena and Leigh Creek Roads, this is one of the best drives through the Flinders Ranges. You will see stunning scenery featuring the southern wall of Wilpena Pound, Red Range, Elder Range and much more. Take the time to visit the lookout and enjoy the magnificent views. If you are lucky there will be pools in the creek.
