After beating down the B'ham beast, Flagg2007, northwing65 and I came home victorious - our adventure can be read here. After weeks of celebration, we went back to our normal caching lives, forgetting the dangers that had befallen us while in Birgmingham. One night, while checking my backpack, I noticed a sticky substance. After lifting my backpack up, I noticed what looked like a soft membrane that had been torn apart. It was almost if something had hatched. I noticed a trail that lead out the door, and tried to make chase, but it was too late. The beast was free.
The Beast had been banished from the Apothecary months ago. We thought we had seen the last of the him. Rumor has it that the Beast has instead found refuge in the underworld of Red Bank. Where you are going a GPSr is useless. Bring a flashlight and your courage, it is going to be a fight.
