Located on Kerr Reservoir (Buggs Island Lake) in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Eagle Point is a short-term camping facility. It is used by individual units and districts for camporees. This beautiful piece of property is about 120 acres over three peninsulas and is leased from the Army Corps of Engineers. It is primitive in nature with only pit latrines.
It is patrolled by the Corps of Engineers; persons in the camp without a permit are subject to being removed. The council property encompasses the finger-shaped points that jut out into the Kerr Res. between the water tower and Eagle Point Landing.
