Geocache Description:

This is our first cache in the Dargo area since moving here in July 2012.
Dargo is a small close knit community with about 90 full time residents and a further 40 or 50 weekenders. It is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. The town was built in the gold rush times which saw fortunes won and lost. Many walnut trees were planted making this area the WALNUT CAPITAL OF AUSTRALIA. Later the main business was logging with a timber mill located on the edge of town, this has long gone and the River Inn now occupies the site. Cattle and sheep farming has long been the backbone of this small community which is serviced by a Pub and a General store a Motel and that's it.
You won't get wet you won't get lost but if you are early there may be a frost. High muggle activity in holiday times. This cache can be done from a wheelchair with access via a ramp.The cache is in a 1 lt container with some swaps a pen and a pad.
