Greatland Reviewer: Hello Acegambit:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If you would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Parking very close by. Stop for a picnic and/or to try your hand at catching some fish, I have caught Grayling and suckers here. Supposedly there are rainbow trout, pike and salmon in here too but I have seen none living and only one dead salmon very late in the year and several miles upstream, so I would say grayling are your best bet. Remember though, catch and release only on them in this spot. And while you are out, try your hand at this cache.

This spot is somewhat dear to me as it was the first place I got to do some "show off" fly fishing when I first got to Alaska a few years back. Come to think of it, I think it was the only time I have been able to do that... I frequent this spot very often (and not just because it's on the way home) and have always thought it would be a good spot for a cache. Someone had one there a year or so back but it kept getting lost so it was archived and the spot left open for me to take. :) Knowing how many people come here it had to be put someplace that wouldn't be discovered by accident. As I sat here the other day photographing wildlife it finally occured to me where to put it.  There are really two ways to get to it but one is definately easier than the other but it is extrememly important to remember that gravity is NOT a friend here. This is a nano cache and there is nothing special about it. I implore you though to remember where it came from when putting it back as there are spots close by that are not as magnetic as others, and a weak hold or uncareful bump could send this to a place you may not want to follow.
