Geocache Description:

Le château fort, sis dans cette Petite cité de caractère de Bretagne a été édifié aux XIe et XIIIe siècles et est aujourd'hui en ruines. Composée de sept tours qui dominent la Rance sur une butte, la mission de cette enceinte était de protéger l'abbaye qui se trouve à son pied.

Une fois l'édifice en ruine en vue, pour y accéder, il vous faudra emprunter le sentier de la Brèche ou bien le chemin du Bourg - mais prenez garde aux arbalétriers qui pourraient se cacher derrière les meurtrières. Lorsque vous avez pénétré ces larges murs, dirigez-vous vers la tour nord. Ce que vous cherchez se trouve à l'intérieur de la tour. Trouvé ? Bien joué ! Vous pouvez maintenant admirer la vue sur le bourg de Léhon, son abbaye et son abbatiale ainsi que sur la vallée de la Rance.

Horaires d'ouverture du site (mais il semblerait que dans les faits celui-ci soit ouvert en continu) :

du premier avril au 31 octobre : tous les jours de 10:00 à 19:00
du premier novembre au 31 mars : weekend de 10:00 à 19 :00
pendant les vacances scolaires : tous les jours de 10:00 à 19:00

La cache contient un logbook avec un petit crayon papier et peut contenir un certain nombre de petits objets.

The castle located in this "Petite cité de caractère de Bretagne" was built between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries, and is now in ruins. Composed of seven towers that dominate the Rance on a hill, the mission of this forum was to protect the abbey situated at its foot.

Once the ruined building in sight, to get there, you will take "le sentier de la Brèche" or "le chemin du bourg" - but beware of the archers could hide behind loopholes. When you have entered these thick walls, head to the north tower. Found? Well done! Now you can enjoy the view of the town of Dinan, the abbey and its church and the valley of the Rance.
