Mangroves --- the lungs of upper spencer gulf........mangroves are a meeting place for land and sea animals.
In no other ecosystem do animals such as CRABS,OYSTERS and BARNICALES exist together wither lizards.... Mangroves live ...where few other plants can...between land and sea ..by taking oxygen from air through aerated roots.. and by sweating axcess salt out through there leaves.....
Mangroves provide a habitat for many marine species... protection for fish ...a home for molluscs and crabs .....
Take in the view from here at sunrise or sunset oh and don't forget your camera
