You better hurry and find this cache. Al Borlin park is slowly eroding into the Skykomish river.
There's a reason it's called Deer Island. I walked right by one the night before I placed the cache. Maybe you'll be lucky and see some deer, or beaver, woodpeckers.
The first location is a nice little bridge to this island park.
If you have time stop by this Pseudo-virtual cache. The signal wandered a bit. Sorry, no find points though.

Think of it as standing in the Heart of Generations.
Keep on eye out for antique railroad spikes on some of the trees. Hunters used them to make tree stands for hunting. Little touch of history.
The trail in this picture suggests the amount of erosion. Since it was taken the rest of the trail has fallen into the river.
This is what happened to the OLD second stage during the floods. The stump in the picture was one of the original stages. Now not even the stump can be found.
