This is a continuation of the Railroad series, the hides are much more of a challenge than the first 8. This is part of the Lehigh & Hudson River R&R old that I is going to be turning into a rail trail that goes out to rt 206 along limcreast rd....the tracks get very close to the road for like a half a mile so be cautious, and trail runs behind a few homes so silence would b prudent :) You are NOT ON PRIVATE PROPERY.if you stay on old track trail
This part of R&R is unfinished and pretty gnarly with overgrowth and i working on it but its still thick, this R&R runs all the way to rt 206 where you can park or park at Areoflex off of Limcrest rd, if you are going out with group I would suggest 2 car shuffle but its not a far walk, about a mile i think. there is some great views near Gardeners Pond and nice place to sit 1/2 thru this section. bring a pair of bino's and watch planes land and take off or just watch wildlife, which is everywhere, bonus cache if you havent already havent gotten them by Ranger Lynnn are GC307M5(Gardners pond view) and another GC307JY(Shagadelic) and 1 more is on other side of Pond. GC305A7(Silver Bullet)..
