River Tyne Walk 13 :- unlucky for some Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

islgkiZebraParade: This area has become very overgrown and I couldn't find the container amongst all the nettles. Archiving this one to make room for some new caches at this end of the River Tyne walkway.

Geocache Description:

the final stretch

A River Tyne Walk from Haddington to East Linton.

with this being 13 i thought id make it a bit harder (well for some lol)

A new path has been opened up along the north bank of the River Tyne. It runs from Hailes through to Abbeymill.
At the Hailes end it connects with the path to East Linton and at the other end you can continue along the river to Haddington.

This now means that you can walk along the Tyne from Haddington along paths right down to the bridge on the North Berwick/ Dunbar road. At the west end the path extends through to Lennoxlove, over the white footbridge and at the east end you can continue along the John Muir Way to Dunbar and beyond.

A good way of walking the route from Haddington to East Linton, or vice versa, would be walk the path getting the bus to the start or from the finish.

At present it is quite muddy, but once compacted and/or with drier weather it should greatly improve.
from cascades-13 is approx 6 miles
