in our disclaimer.
Year round access. Some bushwhacking at the end.
Enjoy a visit to the headwaters of the Missouri River. Note there
is a 5$ fee for non-residents. Due North of the cache is a large
outcropping that Lewis and Clark climbed to view the Gallatin
Valley. Due West is a lookout to view the headwaters of the
Missouri River where the Jefferson and Madison rivers join. The
area can be very busy. The cache contains several camping type
implements and is found in a shoebox style rubber maid container.
Enjoy the visit to this historical place as you hunt this fun
cache. As of 4/27/07 the owners have signed up for a two year
Montana Fish Wildlife and parks permit to have this cache at this
site. I should also mention that there is a fee for out of state
visitors to this park.
