Most of the time, this will be a short walk. If the road is closed,
you can park in the upper parking lot. In this case, the walk will
be much longer. The given set of coordinates are for a sign where
you can find the clues that lead you to the cache. The cache is a
Coleman clone of a 32oz widemouth Nalgene bottle. It contains a
logbook, pen, pencil, and some assorted goodies.

Note: By its nature, this area is very flood prone. The
cache is in a place that should be safe from moderate flooding, but
you may have to walk through some water. Check the USACE
Daily
River and Reservoir Report for river levels. Look at the
line for the Ohio river at Cairo. If the stage is below 43ft,
you will be able to walk to the clue and cache location without
walking through any water. Above 43ft, you will get wet. You can
also check this
page, which shows hourly stage readings. Please use your
best judgement and don't take any unnecessary risks if the water
is extremely high.
