Geocache Description:

A winter friendly cache in the woods.

This is our favorite winter camping spot. We come here for riding and camping. This is a great spot for riding the Willow Area. There is access to so many trails for winter recreation. There are walkers, skiers, dog mushers, snowmachiners and we have even seen ultralights out here. There is access to the Big Su and Yentna Rivers. The Willow Trail Committee does a very good job of keeping the trails groomed. The store, gas and food are not far. This is also a great spot to watch the Iditarod. Lots of folks come out and have bonfires and watch the beginning of the race. We have been out here in the summer and it is beautiful but never camped here. Looks like a mosquito area.
