We placed this cache at this location because it is on the way up to our "High Above Gorge Creek - Lookout" cache, and it is near a flagged trail that can be followed left and upward towards our "Lookout Ledge" cache, so it is a junction cache and you can choose which way to go from here.
This cache is a small lock n' lock container. There are two ways to get to the cache site:
You can follow the Elder Trail from the trail head in a down-river direction until you reach the rock wall foundations at the obvious switchback and then follow the trail back in an up-river direction until you get to this cache - the easy way. Or, you can just go straight up the bank from the trail head to this cache - the steep way.
